Occasionally, an author may wish to update a resource that is already published. You can update a published resource as follows:
- Select 'My Content' from the 'Control Panel' to list all of the resources you have created.
- Select the published resource you wish to update. Note: News items cannot be updated after publication.
- Click the 'Workflow' tab located in the top right hand corner of the page.
- Change the status to 'New Revision'.
- You may add a comment to outline the changes you intend to make. This comment will be recorded in your 'Workflow' history, but will not be sent to Sparx with your submission.
- Click the submit button to view your current document.
- To start making changes, select the 'Edit' tab. Any changes you make will not affect the currently published resource until submitted and approved by Sparx Systems.
- To preview your changes, click the Preview button.
- When you are satisfied with your changes, set the status to 'Ready For Review'.
- You may add a comment to describe the changes made. This comment will be sent to Sparx Systems for consideration with your updated submission.
- Click the Save button to submit your updated resources. You will now see three tabs labeled 'View Current', 'View Pending' and 'Workflow'.
- The published resource will remain on the website as-is, until your changes are approved and published by Sparx Systems. Most documents are reviewed within 2 business days.
