Using EA for producing Software Development Project Specifications at DEEWR

John Paul de Sousa and Aggie Zubowicz will be presenting on the DEEWR Employment Systems BAway and the use of Enterprise Architect for producing software development project specifications.

Our presenters have both contributed to the development of the Enterprise Architect repository structure and Enterprise Architect plugins, designed to support the work of DEEWR’s Employment Systems Group business analysts. These BAs develop applications hosted in the following infrastructures; smart client external and internal facing, websites, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint.

The presentation will focus on how Enterprise Architect has been structured and extended to allow the Analysts to do their requirements modelling work in a consistent manner, with the ability to output a variety of specification types.

John Paul De Sousa
John Paul is a Business Analyst at DEEWR who has worked with a variety of government departments as a business analyst on software development projects.

Aggie Zubowicz
Aggie has worked as a business analyst and tester, specifying and testing software to deliver capacity for employment service providers to implement government policy directed at assisting Australia’s job seekers maintain and keep meaningful employment.
