[PRESS RELEASE] Catch Software Releases Enterprise Tester Plus
24 October 2012 - Enterprise Tester Plus (ET+) adds additional services and support to large installations of test management software, Enterprise Tester.
Catch Software (www.catchsoftware.com), a leading provider of quality management solutions, today announced the release of ET+. This latest release of their flagship product, Enterprise Tester, adds additional services and support to enterprise-level customers, to ensure that they receive the best out of their quality assurance tooling investment. Additions include priority support, training and exclusive quarterly webinars. ET+ is the next step for those enterprise customers who want more from their test management partner.
“At Catch we are focused on providing smart solutions for quality management” says Founder and CEO, Bryce Day, “but great quality management is about more than just a tool a team uses. That has always been part of our approach. Since the release of Enterprise Tester back in 2009 we have focused on being responsive to our customers, helping them to improve their processes, and providing them with great training and support. ET+ is the next evolution. With over a third of our customers now large scale enterprise customers, we have seen increased demand for the services and support that wrap our quality management platform, Enterprise Tester. Our partners Atlassian have seen great success with JIRA Enterprise. We have seen a lot of our customers move to it so wanted to ensure they had the same great enterprise offering for, not just their issue management, but also for their quality management”
Atlassian echo these sentiments. "Add-ons like Enterprise Tester deliver highly complementary solutions for Atlassian’s 22,000+ customers" said Atlassian’s vice president of Atlassian Marketplace, Daniel Freeman. "We help innovators everywhere plan, build and launch great software and we're excited by Enterprise Tester's continued innovation within the Atlassian Marketplace of 1,300+ add-ons.”
With the new release of Enterprise Tester it looks to be an exciting time for Catch Software. Scaling to better support enterprise customers is just the latest in innovations that the team at Catch have delivered, and they show no signs of slowing down.

Enterprise Architect is a fantastic tool that allows you to model anything from development classes and database design, to your organisations enterprise architectural framework. While an organisation gets value from using Enterprise Architect in each of these spaces, the real value is when the whole organisation gets involved. From reuse of actors or roles while performing your analysis, to reuse of these same actors in your Human Resources department for your organisational structure, or even the job descriptions they create.
In this presentation Bryce Day is putting a focus on using Enterprise Architect in a business context. Walking you through a pathway of utilising the Business Motivation Model (BMM) and its interconnections across the Project Management Office (PMO) to a unique requirement in project.
Plus, we are excited to have Tom O'Reilly and Ken Harkin from Sparx Systems attending this meeting.
Refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the meeting.

Enterprise Tester v3.4 - TFS & Selenium Integration
A new version of Enterprise Tester has just been released and this month we've added additional integration options into the product.
This latest version offers integration into Microsoft's Team Foundation Server (TFS) for defect tracking and requirements capture, and if you're running Duette you can now import results from unit test frameworks and Selenium. New features include:
• Integration with Team Foundation Server (TFS) added for synchronizing incidents and requirements.
• Ability to change tester for in-progress runs added.
• Support added for import HTML Suite results from Selenium tests.
• Support added for importing results from unit tests frameworks (JUnit, NUnit, Gallio, Parasoft C++test, JSUnit & PHPUnit).
• And much more...
What does this mean for Enterprise Architect users?
Enterprise Tester allows you to automatically create test scripts from the use case and requirements you have in Enterprise Architect, saving testers time and effort in creating them from scratch. Since you can now integrate Microsoft's Team Foundation Server (as well as Atlassian's JIRA) you have new option for your end-to-end tool chain.
On average integrating your tool chain equates to a saving of 60% of your test setup time, 4% of the total project cost, and better visibility of the relationships and dependencies between requirements, test scripts, execution sets, and incidents.
Check out the release page on the new Enterprise Tester website for more details, to read the full Enterprise Tester v3.4 release notes, or to download this latest release.
